Martin Puddy (a client of mine) has sent me a link to an official petition against legislation that represents a land grab for the rights to our images.
As someone who promotes and writes tools to ensure that metadata contains accurate copyright information in images I fully support opposition to this misplaced legislation.
I strongly suggest all clients consider adding their support to the petition.
